Tickets for Hawaii's first inaugural ball in Washington sold out on Friday, and now scalpers are auctioning off the $200 tickets on eBay for more than $1,300 each. Needless to say, event organizers are not happy.

Hoping to score tickets to the swearing in ceremony from DC congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton? Think again—her office put out a message via her Web site telling constituents that there are no tickets available, and to please stop calling and emailing.

The Armed Forces Inaugural Committee is accepting applications from school bands hoping to march in the inaugural parade. Applications, which can be mailed or submitted online, are due this Friday by 5 PM. Bands can submit photos and audio or video of performances with their applications.
