Great Takeout: Mamma Lucia

Mamma Lucia (several Maryland and Virginia locations; mammaluciarestaurants.com) is all about thin, hand-tossed New York–style crust with robust sauce and a judicious sprinkling of cheese. You can grab slices before 5 pm, after which it’s whole pies only. Most people pick up pizzas to go because delivery is available only when there’s enough staff on hand. Slice of cheese pizza $2.75, 14-inch pie $15; delivery fee varies by location.
