True to its name, its main level is courtyard-like with a large, terraced walkway proceeding from the entrance. An indoor waterfall in the atrium provides some background noise and a breeze. The rooms, renovated in 2009, are accented in a contemporary and tranquil orange-and-brown palette. They also include an iHome dock and a marble bathroom. For that Capitol view, Washington Court suggests paying a $25 room guarantee. Although guests could end up in a view room without the fee if the rooms aren’t booked, they do fill up quickly.
