Washington Bars With Super Bowl Specials

Where to watch Sunday’s big game

Whether you’re a die-hard cheesehead, have a collection of terrible towels, or just want an excuse to chow down, we’ll show you where to go.

ADAMS MORGAN

Town Tavern
The sports bar will have $5 burger baskets, $5 wing buckets, and $8 pitchers of domestic beer. Have a group of ten or more? Reserve ahead of time and get a free pitcher.

Ventnor Sports Cafe
Call ahead or e-mail scott@ventorsportscafe.com to ensure a seat Sunday. The Adams Morgan bar will also serve brats, pierogi, and Iron City, a “funky Pittsburgh beer.”

CAPITOL HILL

The Pour House
Washington’s official Pittsburgh Steelers bar is serving $3 drafts and $10 pitchers of Miller Lite and Blue Moon. There are also specials on buckets of ten or 20 wings, kielbasa, and pierogi.

Hawk ’N’ Dove
Just a few steps away is DC’s official Green Bay Packers bar. The Capitol Hill institution is serving brats, cheese curds, and other Wisconsin fare as well as pitchers of Blue Moon ($12), Miller Lite ($10), and Chippewa Falls’ own Leinenkugel ($12).

Trusty’s
This bar will take in the overflow of Steelers fan from the Pour House and serve $10 Miller Lite pitchers.

The Ugly Mug
Fans can drink Miller Lite and Blue Moon all day with $3 and $4 drafts respectively, or Miller Lite towers for $24 and Blue Moon towers for $30.

DOWNTOWN

Againn
The gastropub is offering a $10 game day menu featuring Guinness Soaked Pretzels, house-made brats, and more. You can also opt in to the Dine and Draft Menu, where $15 gets you a draft beer and an entree, such as a burger, sheperd's pie, or fish and chips. 

The Exchange
With $9 pitchers, raffles, and giveaways, this bar welcomes all fans.

The Ritz-Carlton Downtown
Keep it classy with buckets of regional brews—the hotel's got Lakefront from Wisconsin and Iron City from Pittsburgh. They’ll also be serving the signature margarita of the Ritz in Dallas (the Texas city is hosting Super Bowl XLV), plus a selection of good bar grub. $30 all inclusive.

L2 Lounge
The hotspot is bringing in multiple TVs and surround sound to fully transport you to the big game. Special menu items include lamb nachos, bratwursts, and more. 

Hudson Restaurant and Lounge
At this Dupont Circle spot, you’ll find $5 food specials—short-rib tacos and mini-sliders, to name a couple—plus $4 Skyy Vodka cocktails, $3 Coronas, and a DJ at halftime. The restaurant is bringing in four extra TVs for the occasion.

The Mighty Pint (1831 M St., NW)
This Steelers bar will run its usual Steelers Sunday specials, including Miller Lite pints for $2.50, Yuengling pints for $3, and pitchers for $10 and $12, respectively, while pint cocktails are $4.

DUPONT CIRCLE

Sign of the Whale
Fifteen plasma-screen TVs plus $3 Bud Light drafts, $10 Bud Light pitchers, and $5 burgers and wings. Groups can reserve tables with a minimum of four people for $25 per person. The Front Page
Game-day specials include $2 Bud Light drafts, $9 pitchers, $4 Captain Morgan, and $3 Smirnoff, plus $3 wing baskets.

Lucky Bar
Fans can enjoy 25-cent wings, $3 Yuenglings and Bud Lights, and $12 pitchers while watching the game on one of two high-definition big-screen TVs.

GEORGETOWN / FOGGY BOTTOM

Old Glory
A $20 ticket buys you an all-you-can eat buffet featuring pork sliders, mini-cheesesteaks, hot dogs, and more, plus a cash bar with drink specials and door prizes, starting at 4:30. Buy tickets through Capital Restaurants.

Third Edition
The Super Sunday tailgate includes all-you-can-eat chili, sliders, and pulled pork plus seven flavors of wings. You also get three beer or Champagne tickets and a chance to watch the Ladies of DC Wing Eating Contest at halftime. Buy tickets ($25) at Capital Restaurants.

Ris
Tailgate food gets fancy at this 100 Best restaurant, where you can try duck tenders and burgers loaded with toppings like beer cheese fondue. Drink specials include $5 glasses of wine, $6 cocktails and $4 drafts of Abita Light. 

GEORGIA AVE./PETWORTH

Blue Banana (3636 Georgia Ave., NW)
Watch the game on one of ten 52-inch flat-screen TVs, and take advantage of food, drink, and pitcher specials, or buy a $20 wristband for unlimited Coors during the entire game.

U STREET

Stetsons
While the staff here has catered to both Steelers and Packers fans in the past, all are welcome for 25-cent wings, pulled-pork sandwiches, and happy-hour drink prices, such as $3.50 rail drinks, $3.50 Miller Lite drafts, and $3 PBR cans.

Duffy’s Irish Restaurant and Pub
Call and make a reservation for the $10-per-person event, and enjoy drink specials and an all-you-can-eat wings and hot-dog buffet during the first half.

Nellie’s Sports Bar
From
3 to 8, the bar will have its signature $2 Beer Blast.

Cafe Saint-Ex
Munch on loaded potato skins and chicken confit tater tots, while drinking Leinenkugel in the basement you partied in the night before.

MARYLAND

Tommy Joe’s
This Bethesda bar will have the game on 22 screens plus food-and-drink specials, and for those who need to cool down, the patio will be open.

BlackFinn
The Super Bowl Party includes deals on towers of Miller Lite, Coors Lite, and Blue Moon, plus munchies such as nachos and wings. There will also be a giveaway of a flat screen TV. 

VIRGINIA 

Carpool (Arlington and Herndon)
Pittsburgh fans are gathering here for $2.75 Miller Lite drafts and $3.50 Peroni and Yuengling drafts.

Rock Bottom (Ballston)
Sip (or chug) $4.25 23 oz drafts and $2.50 pints of the brewery's entire collection of house beers. 

Tortoise and Hare (Arlington)
This bar caters to Steelers fans, who can enjoy $3 Yuengling and Miller Lite drafts, $11 Miller Lite pitchers, and a $6 game-day food specials.

Arlington Cinema ’n’ Drafthouse (Arlington)
Catch the game on a big screen with full restaurant and bar service. Admission is free.

Whitlow's on Wilson (Clarendon)
Watch the game on a 101-inch projection screen while downing $4 shots of grape and cherry vodka, $3 bud light, and deals on game day munchies. 

Mister Days (Clarendon)
In addition to watching the game on the bar’s 100 screens, you can enjoy an appearance by the Redskins Cheerleaders, all-can-eat tailgate food, and a chance to win $1,500 in Redskins tickets. $25 cover; reserve a ticket at the Mister Day’s site.

Crystal City Sports Pub (Crystal City)
For $35, watch the game on three floors with more than 100 TVs, Also: an appetizer buffet, dinner, drink specials, and game tables. Make a reservation by calling 703-521-8215.

Kalypso’s (1617 Washington Pl.; Reston)
This Reston bar will offer its regular game-day specials such as 50-cent wings, half-price burgers, and $3 Miller Lite bottles. There’ll be prizes at each quarter and a raffle for a jersey.
