The stainless-steel tanks at the front door are the first sign that this place is serious about beer. Owner Bill Madden, formerly of Capitol City Brewing Company, makes every draft in-house. The roster includes seasonal brews and cask ales representing German, English, Belgian, and American styles. The best way to explore the selection is a sampling of four four-ounce beers for $6. One of our favorites: the Festivus Ale, a cinnamon-spiced English-style winter warmer with a dark, rich body.
