Winning tickets to see the counterculture generation's guiding spirit is easy—just sign up for our weekly Where & When e-newsletter

Opportunities to see some of the last century’s great musical icons are few and far between, with the exception of Bob Dylan. Since 1988, Dylan has never stopped touring, managing around 2,300 shows in the last two decades. The man described by Time magazine as a “master poet, caustic social critic, and intrepid, guiding spirit of the counterculture generation” comes to Merriweather Post Pavilion on Tuesday, August 16, and we have two tickets to give away. Just sign up for our Where & When newsletter to enter. We’ll notify the winner by August 12.

No two Dylan shows are alike—after more than five decades of performing, he experiments constantly, mixing up the likes of “Mr. Tambourine Man” and “Like a Rolling Stone” with newer works. Opening for Dylan at Merriweather are Georgia alt-country band the Drive-By Truckers and folk-country singer-songwriter Leon Russell, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year.
