The Washingtonian hosted its sold-out Brunch & Bloodys event on Saturday at Long View
Gallery. Restaurants from the October 50 Great Breakfasts feature were invited to
set up a table and serve samples of their famous brunch bites to the guests. The event
also featured a Bloody Mary challenge judged by The Washingtonian’s Cathy Merrill Williams and Anna Spiegel, Cori Sue Morris and Rebecca Loveridge of Bitches Who Brunch, and Fiola bar manager Jeff Faile.
Participating restaurants included Art & Soul, Black Market Bistro, BlackSalt, Brasserie Beck, Busboys and Poets, Chef Geoff’s, Eatonville, Founding Farmers, the Greenhouse at the Jefferson, the Hamilton, the Howard Theatre, Jackie’s, Lia’s, Maple Ave Restaurant, Mintwood Place, Poste, and the Source. The Bloody Marys featured Belvedere Bloody Mary, and the bar served brunch cocktails featuring Chandon.
