Apparently the District’s 2014 mayoral race is on the radar for Los Angeles comedy writers, because on his show last night, Jimmy Kimmel submitted a new name to add to the 12-person field—embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. Why Ford for DC? By Kimmel’s logic, it’s pretty simple. Stripped of most of his responsibilities and powers in Toronto, Ford’s main gig these days is his new role as an NFL prognosticator on local sports radio station 106.7 The Fan. Oh, and then there are Ford’s extracurricular activities.
