From Sophie Gilbert’s hilarious account of her experiences joining Mensa to Harry Jaffe’s look at a DC neighborhood hiding underground toxic waste to our multiplatform feature on local hikes and bikes, the works represent a wide range of subjects and storytelling techniques, and we couldn’t be prouder of the recognition.
