Nominations for the annual City and Regional Magazine Awards were announced last week, and Washingtonian came away with 15. From Sophie Gilbert’s hilarious account of her experiences joining Mensa to Harry Jaffe’s look at a DC neighborhood hiding underground toxic waste to our multiplatform feature on local hikes and bikes, the works represent a wide range of subjects and storytelling techniques, and we couldn’t be prouder of the recognition.
