Chances are when you’re walking around DC on a workday you’re not paying much attention to the ground you’re walking on (beyond trying to avoid putting your shoes in anything nasty). But this Thursday, the Golden Triangle BID wants you to stop and look around—specifically at 1700 Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest, where the sidewalk will be transformed into a chalk mural by local artist Whitney Waller.
Waller, a graduate of the Corcoran School of Art & Design (RIP), will be at work between 9 and 5, creating her temporary masterpiece as passersby watch.
