But this being DC, where dogs are prized possessions and the thought of a “Barks and Blazers” dog happy hour is totally believable, it’s no surprise that Washingtonians wanted to get their four-legged friends in on the fun.
In honor of Pope Francis’s trip to America, Instagram users have been uploading photos of their pup dressed up as His Holiness with the hashtag #PopeDog. Here are some of our favorites.
