For DC residents, today is the deadline to submit paper or online registrations to vote in November’s election. You can register through the DC Board of Elections website, its VOTE4DC mobile app, or by mail.
If getting things done ahead of time isn’t for you, you can take advantage of same-day registration during early voting starting on October 22 or on Election Day.
Maryland and Virginia do not offer same-day registration; Maryland’s deadline to register is October 18, and Virginia’s is October 17.
