PHOTOS: Federal Police Spread Out Across DC

Some wore masks as they patrolled Georgetown and the Wharf.

Last Friday, President Trump announced he would deploy federal police officers in Washington to “make DC safe again.” On Monday, he used emergency powers to take over the DC police department and ordered National Guard troops to deploy in town. On Tuesday night, federal law enforcement, including personnel from from the DEA, the FBI, and ICE  showed up in locations like Georgetown and the Wharf. Some wore masks as they patrolled.
