Hope Stafford has worked exclusively in family law for over fourteen years. Before law school, Hope studied engineering and worked as a portfolio analyst, which provided a foundation for her work on complex financial cases involving alimony, property valuation and division, child support, and negotiating and drafting prenuptial and marital settlement agreements. She also has significant experience working with families facing high conflict and other forms of complicated custody cases involving substance use disorders, domestic violence, gatekeeping behaviors, and visitation resistance or refusal. Hope is a strong appellate advocate and has argued appeals in both D.C. and Maryland.
