James K. Freeman practices primarily in the fields of personal injury, wrongful death and criminal defense litigation. A partner since 2000, he enjoys a reputation as an aggressive, results-oriented trial attorney. His work with a major insurance company prior to joining the firm has given him an understanding of the inner workings of the claims process. Raised in Fairfax County, Mr. Freeman believes his work is about helping real people with real problems. He has also been included in the listings of Top Jury Verdicts and Settlements of the Year several times.

Having obtained a Masters of Law in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Mr. Freeman has the tools necessary to identify, plan and implement an aggressive and intelligent strategy to successfully resolve your specific case. He is well known throughout the legal community for his ability to handle complex civil and criminal cases. Mr. Freeman practices before all state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. When Mr. Freeman is not at work, he loves to play tennis, basketball, softball and golf. He has coached varsity basketball at Fairfax High School, coached younger basketball leagues and has run summer camps. Mr. Freeman served four (4) years of active duty in the United States Navy, working as an aviation electronics technician on F/A-18, F-14 and A-6 aircrafts.
