Leigh has been helping individuals navigate all aspects of domestic relations litigation since 2003. In 2019 with her two partners, Leigh began her family law firm Taylor Huguley Powers, PLLC. In addition to her listing in the Washingtonian’s Top Lawyers for 2024, Leigh is AV-Rated with Martindale-Hubbell and named as a Best Lawyer and a Super Lawyer. Her firm is Tier-1 Rated in Best Law Firms of Best Lawyers as well. She is an active member of the Fairfax Bar Association (FBA), Arlington County Bar Association (ACBA), Virginia State Bar (VSB), Virginia Bar Association (VBA), and Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA). Leigh served as the President of the FBA from 2023 – 2024 and is now the Immediate Past President. Leigh is a Director on the Fairfax Law Foundation Board of Directors. She is also past chair of the FBA Circuit Court and Pro Bono Committees. She is a Gold Member of the Rule 6.1 Society of Legal Services of Northern Virginia and a Member of the Pro Bono Service Honor Roll of the VSB. Leigh is a past recipient of the FBA’s James Keith Public Service Award.
Leigh received her B.A. from the College of William and Mary and her J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. She is proficient in Spanish and trained in collaborative divorce practice as well. Leigh’s family law practice is diverse in that she handles many types of cases in and out of court involving pre-marital agreements, post-marital agreements, divorce, protective orders, custody and visitation disputes, child support and spousal support disputes, partition cases, and adoptions.
