Regina A. DeMeo is a Principal at the Markham Law Firm in Bethesda, MD. She is an alumna of Georgetown University and George Washington University Law School, who has exclusively focused on family law in the DC Area for over 25 years. Since 2010, she has frequently been a guest lecturer and presenter in various universities, as well as on radio, tv and numerous podcasts promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution options with court as the option of last resort. After being featured in the Washington Post in 2010, she became the host of MMCTV’s show Making It Last for two years, and she was a regular legal commentator on celebrity divorces for Sirius XM in 2012. Her goal has consistently been to minimize the trauma in a divorce, protect children, and promote healthy relationships.

She has served on various non-profit boards, and from 2019-2020 she was an adjunct professor for the Family Justice Center at GW University. Numerous publications have quoted her, and she has published several scholarly articles throughout her career. As a result, she has routinely been recognized by Washingtonian, Bethesda Magazine, and Super Lawyers Magazine as one of the top family law attorneys in the DC Area.
