Stephanie Smith is partner with the law firm of Cooper Ginsberg Gray in Fairfax, Virginia, where her practice has focused exclusively on family law for more than 14 years. Stephanie represents clients in every type of family law matter, such as high conflict custody disputes, including those involving parental alienation and mental health challenges, initial and post-divorce support matters, and complex asset division matters involving business valuations, digital currency, and separate property tracing. Stephanie enjoys working with her clients in the Collaborative Process to reach peaceful out of court divorce settlements and with couples to prepare premarital agreements. She currently holds leadership roles with both the Virginia Collaborative Professionals (VaCP) and the Collaborative Professionals of Northern Virginia (CPNV). Outside of her practice, Stephanie is an adjunct professor at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School where she co-teaches Virginia Family Law, she is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and serves as co-chair of the Fairfax Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court Committee.
