Nisha Chand

Dr. Chand is a board-certified Gastroenterologist who specializes in the care of Gastrointestinal diseases and Hepatology. Early in her career, she chose to pay attention to the details patients offer regarding their ailments and conditions. She takes pride in delivering compassionate care to her patients. She is honored to have again been selected to be a Washingtonian Top Doctor.

Northern Virginia Gastroenterology is one of the few practices in the DC Metropolitan area that is private and independently owned, allowing the provision of personalized care to each patient. Dr. Chand specializes in all general Gastroenterology and Hepatology including but not limited to colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, heartburn, abdominal pain/bloating, IBS and fatty liver. She is also fluent in Spanish, Hindi and Urdu.
