It’s a Tweet Beat sporting special this week: Randy Neugebauer and Gabrielle Giffords are following the World Cup, Lisa Murkowski’s taking part in a triathlon, and President Obama is apparently playing golf. Even John Cornyn’s watching a rugby-themed movie on his iTouch, which almost counts.
In other news, Bob Inglis has finally admitted that the main purpose of an opposition party is, well, opposing. Is anyone really surprised? Not Mike Pence, who again has taken it upon himself to speak on behalf of the American people. All 300 million of them. Presumably the 6.5 million people in Indiana aren’t enough. John McCain is having lunch (and worrying about his good friend General Petraeus), Steve King is standing up for the “constitutional and popular” immigration law in Arizona, Aaron Schock has his shirt on this time, and Jim Himes is masquerading as an intern. And Mary Bono Mack sounds like she’s really, really mad.
