While officials across Washington are urging residents to stay home rather than venture out in the more than one foot of snow that has already fallen, those edicts do not apply to the residents of the National Zoo. Tian Tian, the zoo’s adult male giant panda and the father of Bao Bao and Bei Bei, went out in the panda yard on Saturday morning for the frolic you wish you could go on yourself if it wouldn’t end in hypothermia for your fragile human body.

Tian Tian may be a “clueless breeder with flawed technique,” but at least he knows how to have a good time in the snow.
