5 DC Starbucks Will Launch Alcohol and Small Plates Next Week

You’ll soon be able to catch more than just a caffeine buzz at Starbucks. Starting Tuesday, five locations in the District will offer a new “evening menu” comprised of wine, craft beer, and small plates such as truffle mac n’ cheese, flatbreads, and bacon-wrapped dates.

The coffee giant first launched its nighttime menu in Seattle in 2010, and has since introduced the concept in over 300 locations around the U.S. and Canada. The Fredericksburg Patch reported last fall that Starbucks applied for alcohol permits at 13 Northern Virginia locations, which have yet to open.

Here are the five DC locations where you can get your sauvignon blanc and truffle popcorn fix next week, according to a Starbucks spokesperson:

-Wisconsin Avenue and Idaho Avenue, Northwest

-1801 Columbia Road, Northwest

-815 O Street, Northwest

-237 Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast

-1000 H Street, Northwest
