Check out a unique mix of contemporary and local art at the Trawick Prize Gallery (4729 Hampden Lane, Bethesda; 301-951-7900) during the last week of an exhibition that features the winners of the Bethesda Contemporary Art Awards. The top prize was awarded to DC’s Sara Pomerance for her projected videos that portray middle-class life. Other projects include paintings attached to the wall using static electricity and brilliantly colored photos of Venice. The show runs until September 25, and admission is free.
