ART: “Put A CORC In It” celebrates a collection of new work by 17 students from the Corcoran College of Art & Design, which will be on display inside the Renaissance Dupont Circle Hotel’s bar and lounge through Labor Day. MUSIC: The band Destroyer is not as hard-core as the name suggests. Frontman Dan Bejar—also a member of the supergroup the New Pornographers—has a melodic sound and witty lyrics on the group’s latest offering, Kaputt. OPERA: Today is the last chance to catch Orpheus and Eurydice, part of the Urban Arias Spring Festival at Artisphere.
