Washington’s newest beacon for beer aficionados has arrived with the restaurant Birch & Barley and its upstairs bar ChurchKey (1337 14th St., NW; 202-567-2576). On Tuesday, thirsty Washingtonians were flocking to the place, open less than a month, to get a dose of Pilsners, lagers, ales, and everything in between—there are more than 500 beers from around the world to choose from. So what do customers think? We set up our cameras outside to find out.
