Valentine’s Day Restaurant Guide

For your consideration this February 14: Special dinners at 15 crushworthy spots around Washington.

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and local restaurants are starting to announce limited-time love day menus. Here are V-day details at 15 local restaurants; check back with us for more as February 14 approaches. Don’t feel like dining out on Tuesday? Many of the menus are available on surrounding dates, as well.

Acqua Al 2
Seating(s): 5:30 to 10:30 PM
Price: $85 for a five-course meal.

Etc.: Book table 70 for a secluded seat with a view of the restaurant’s Tuscan mural.

Addie’s
Seating(s): 5:30 to 9:30 PM
Price: $65 for a four-course meal; $95 with wine pairings.

Reservations: Call 301-881-0081. Reservations are made at the start and end of every hour.

Blue Duck Tavern
Seating(s): 5:30 to 10:30 PM
Price: $70 for a special four-course dinner.

Cafe du Parc
Seating(s): 5 to 10 PM
Price: $65 per person for a five-course dinner; $90 with wine pairings.

Etc.: Cafe du Parc diners can stay overnight at the Willard InterContinental for a special discounted rate of $359.

Casa Nonna
Seating(s): Tavola 12, the restaurant’s tasting bar, seats at 7 PM.
Price: $75 for a 12-course meal at Tavola 12; $105 with wine pairings.
Menu: Dishes on the tasting menu will include, per press materials, raviolo of farmer’s egg in black truffle sauce, wood-roasted turbot with vanilla-braised endive and Champagne zabaglione, and, for dessert, sweet banana fritelle and molten gianduja.

Etc.: A special four-course tasting menu is also available for $45 per person.

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar
Seating(s): 4 to 11 PM, 4 to 9 PM on Sunday
Price: $78 per couple.

Etc.: A shareable menu of dishes inspired by Cuba’s golden age will be available from Saturday, February 11, through Tuesday, February 14.

Equinox
Seating(s): 5:30 to 10 PM
Price: $70 for a three-course menu, $90 for a five-course menu; $95 or $125 with wine pairings, respectively.

Hank’s Oyster Bar
Seating(s): 5:30 to 10 PM
Price: A Valentine’s menu is available for $32 per person, or $60 per couple with a special oyster sampler. It’s $30 for a half bottle of Gardet Champagne for the table.
Menu: The oyster sampler includes half a dozen freshly shucked oysters paired with two 1½-pound lobsters.

Etc.: The menu is available on Monday, February 13, and Tuesday, February 14.

J &G Steakhouse
Seating(s):5 to 10 PM, or till 11 PM on Saturday
Price: $90 per person; $135 with wine pairings.

Etc.: The special Valentine’s Day menu is available from Saturday, February 11, through Tuesday, February 14. The grilled tomahawk steak is precut for two and served tableside.

The Oval Room

Zentan

Menu: The special menu features, according to press materials, Beausoleil oysters with caviar, dill, and seaweed; red snapper with rose essence, beet root, balsamic, and fennel; and Creek Stone Farm short ribs with chicory, truffles, and horseradish, plus house-made truffles for dessert.
Price: $75 for a four-course meal. $14 each for two special cocktails.
