Local restaurants and bars are saying goodbye to the super storm with a bevy of special offerings. Behold:

Afternoon Ramen

Toki Underground, typically only open in the evening, is dishing up piping hot bowls of ramen starting at 12:30 (and only until supplies lasts, so head there ASAP).

All-day Happy Hour

All Chef Geoff’s locations and Lia’s are open for business today, offering their usual all-day happy hour. The special: The office is closed, so you can post up in the bar area all afternoon.

Bottomless Mimosas and Wi-Fi

RedRocks Pizzeria celebrates the storms at both its locations: Head to the Columbia Heights branch for bottomless mimosas and $5 Dark and Stormies, or the Alexandria eatery for a $10 pizza lunch (including a soft drink), $3 craft beers, and free wi-fi.

Chef Treats

Unfortunately Birch & Barley remains closed today—but you can head up to ChurchKey for special plates from chef Kyle Bailey alongside the usual extensive list of brews.

Discount Flights

Planes may be grounded, but Screwtop Wine Bar has your back with discounted wine flights. Head over to Arlington for $5 off tastings of Argentinian whites and reds.

Pub Lunch

Typically the Queen Vic is only open in the evenings on weekdays, but you can cure cabin fever with a trip to this H Street pub after noon for soups, salads, sandwiches, and beers.

Special Set Menu

Bryan Voltaggio reopens Volt for dinner at 5:30, and is offering a special three-course menu for $35. Call the restaurant for details and reservations.

Bargain Mexican Snacks in Georgetown

Bandolero is offering its Bandido happy hour specials from 4 to 10 in the bar area today.

Burger and Brew

Get over the hurricane with a meaty special at Dino: a burger-and-beer combo for $15. Other specials include happy hour prices on all cocktails, and 33 percent off bottles of wine $50 or more.

Buy One, Get One Free

Bring a buddy to DC Reynolds for a two-for-one deal, going on now through 9. It’s also the regular Taco Tuesday deal, though a limited supply is available.

Discount Drafts

Cafe Saint-Ex opens at 3 with happy hour until close, including $2 off all draft beers, $1 off rail cocktails, and a rotating lineup of food specials.

$5 Margaritas

Hill Country runs its happy hour special on drinks all day, including $5 margaritas ($20 for a pitcher) and $3 Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Hurricane Happy Hour

If you happen to be up in Baltimore, Wit & Wisdom is mixing $6 hurricane cocktails from 4 to 7.

Zombies

Thankfully it wasn’t that kind of near-apocalyptic event, but Oyamel reopens this evening with Day of the Dead cocktails such as the tequila-based Zombie Apocalypse, plus a limited “post-Sandy” special menu.
