Family friends have confirmed the death on Thursday night of Millie McAuliffe, the 92-year-old mother of Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe. She died at her assisted living residence in Syracuse, New York. The funeral is expected to happen in the middle of next week and McAuliffe is expected to attend. Her husband predeceased her. They had four sons.
The Syracuse Post-Standard said McAuliffe “made a habit” of visiting his mother on her birthday and Mother’s Day.
