See How Our May Cover Was Made With This Amazing Time-Lapse Video

Yep, that’s a real chalkboard.

Our May “Fairs, Festivals & Farmers Markets” cover isn’t just a pretty picture: Minnesota artist Jeff Nelson drew the image on the wall of his studio, coloring it in carefully with chalk over the course of a week. The original drawing is five by seven feet. Check out the video below to see Nelson in action.
