Wine Stay – Hope and Glory’s Tents at Vinyard Grove

From the folks at Hope and Glory Inn comes an old slice of Americana: tent living. The concept harks back to camps where revivals took place and families summered. These “tents”—they’re really cottages—aren’t primitive, however. Decorated in Hope and Glory’s signature shabby chic, the upscale accommodations feature three bedrooms with private baths, a kitchen, dining and living areas, a screened porch, and an outdoor shower. In the woods behind White Fences Vineyard & Winery, the seven Carpenter Gothic cottages stand within walking distance of the inn, and guests can use the pool and kayak dock. The vineyard, and farm winery offer tastings. An entire tent can be rented overnight ($685) or weekly ($3,150); one- or two-room rentals also available.
