El Pollo Rico (932 N. Kenmore St., Arlington; 703-522-3220; $13.75 whole, $7.34 half) sets the area standard for Peruvian-style chicken—its tangy, tender birds with yellow-mustard and spicy jalapeño sauces have a devoted following. But there are plenty of other contenders, many of them very good.
