Neighborhood Eats: Joe’s Pizza and Pasta

There are no checkered tablecloths at Joe’s, but Italian opera plays on the sound system and there’s a menu full of red-sauced Italian-American favorites. Baked ziti is cheesy and comforting, pizzas are reliable, and the tomato sauce tastes fresh and zesty. From the roster of mix-and-match noodles and sauces, we like linguine with the hearty eggplant marinara. Don’t ignore the round of yeasty pizza bread that kicks off the meal—it’s delicious.
