There are many things to love about this unassuming bi-level Shaw dining room: cozy farmhouse digs (think rough-hewn tables and shiplap), locally sourced ingredients, and a sense of fun in the cooking and cocktails. It seems like every restaurant has a Negroni these days—a swoop of lime foam makes the version here stand out. Also not run-of-the-mill are thin-sliced Hasselback potatoes made with fingerlings, whipped smoked feta, and hot honey—a perfect cocktail snack. And rack of lamb gets a triple whammy of chimichurri, romesco, and garlic labneh. Bonus: The six-course prix fixe menu is now $59, up $4 since last year but still one of the best deals in town.
