The lower-key older sister to Jônt—chef Ryan Ratino’s rarefied upstairs tasting room—is a special-occasion destination in its own right. Bresca shifted away from à la carte offerings post-pandemic; Ratino’s prix fixe and tasting menus here are peppered with playful extra bites such as “bacon, egg, and cheese” on a delicate ladyfinger of brioche. Expect plenty of upcharged luxuries: worth-the-splurge pressed duck, caviar to spoon over duck-fat waffles, unusual cuts of Australian Wagyu, and truffles galore.
