Georgetown
Italian
Potomac River views and yuzu-scented Prosecco cocktails are just a few of the things that sparkle at Fabio Trabocchi’s Georgetown seafood restaurant. (Lucky diners will score a table overlooking the water.) A lavish cart rolls up to show off langoustines, Dover sole, and other big-ticket catches available that day. It’s tempting to give in to all the luxury—few seafood towers are more beautiful that the one here—but you don’t have to. We appreciate the kitchen’s rustic ricotta-and-lemon-filled ravioli more than the pricier lobster version, and Trabocchi’s restaurants do salads and soups, such as a truffle-scented porcini bowl, as well as they do fancier crudos and caviar presentations.
