Dupont Circle
Thai
Tucked away in a Dupont basement, this Thai izakaya packs a punch with its menu, inspired by Bangkok’s Chinatown. Heat seekers will appreciate salmon crudo with pops of tobiko electrified by a zippy chili-cilantro-lime dressing, as well as a fiery duck laab showered in fresh herbs. Meanwhile, crispy wontons stuffed with quail eggs resemble leveled-up crab rangoons. Another favorite: chili egg noodles with tom yum “essences,” bacon, tomatoes, and a sprinkling of Parmesan.
