From March 2003

It's a restaurant, it's a nightclub, it's Mie N Yu, one of a growing number of area establishments blurring the line between dinner and after-dinner fun.

Mie N Yu, at 3125 M Street, NW, the former location of Georgetown Station, is the brainchild of entrepeneur John Boyle and his group, Primacy Companies, which has interests in restaurants, nightclubs, and concert venues.
The decor features an elevated Turkish tent with ottomans and day beds, a dining room with red velvet-draped walls, mirrored tables, and crystal chandeliers, and the Harem Room, with a private entrance and its own DJ.

The menu, created by Robert Price and Gregory Sharpe, is eclectic–for lunch, lamb tagine, Caesar salads, barbecued pork sandwiches; for dinner, steak, pork loin, duck rillettes, edamame succotash, and wasabi mashed potatoes.
