For a 100-calorie snack, you can enjoy a two-pack of aspartame-flavored South Beach Diet cookies, a teeny-tiny can of Pringles, or a packet of Oreos (but they’re Oreo crisps, with no cream filling!). It seems like every brand is jumping on the 100-calorie bandwagon, and yet most of these portion-controlled supermarket snacks are likely to leave you wanting more. But not Orville Redenbacher’s Smart Pop microwave popcorn. After popping up a mini-bag in the office microwave, a co-worker and I marveled at how much popcorn one gets for 100 measly calories! And while some brands of reduced-fat microwave popcorns have little to no taste, Orville’s butter and kettle corn Smart Pop varieties are both addictive.
