Cafes & Carryouts
There are no seats at either outpost of this old-school Italian grocery and deli, but the foil-wrapped slices of pizza ($1.50) are easily eaten on the go. The crust is crispy, and the pies have a low grease factor—the cheese is baked directly into the dough, and the salty-sweet tomato sauce is spread on top.
Oversize focaccia sandwiches ($4.50) come filled with Genoa and provolone or with tomato and mozzarella, and they need nothing more than the olive oil that moistens the bread.
