To celebrate our upcoming Best Of issue, we're asking you to tell us what you love about Washington in the summer. One lucky winner will get two tickets to our Best Of Party!
It might not quite feel like it yet, but summer in Washington is just around the corner. There may be a few things to complain about with the advent of summer in the metropolitan area—humidity, skeeters, and the crush of tourists—but summertime in Washington's got quite a lot to recommend it.
And so, to celebrate our upcoming Best Of issue, we're asking you to tell us what you love about Washington in the summer. Is it the free concerts? The way things slow down at offices all over town? The hilariously fluffy stories local stations come up with to fill the slow news days? Dining on the waterfront?
Send us your top five favorite things about summer in Washington; our favorites will get published in our July issue, and one entrant will win two tickets to our Best Of party on July 15.
So get thinking and please send in your responses by April 28—with the subject line "summer"—to sdalphonse@washingtonian.com.
