Each week, we ask you to tweet us the best dishes from your eating adventures from over the weekend. And you always deliver with a Twitter stream full of enticing choices. Check out the list below to see what Twitterers around town want a second helping of; if you want to see a favorite dish included, tweet @bestbitesblog, and we'll update the list to include your recommendation.

(Psst—you can also follow Washingtonian on Twitter here, and food and dining editor Todd Kliman here.)

lwalens: Mark's Kitchen in Takoma Park: super tasty and great for vegetarians! I had the ginger tofu focaccia sandwich

gnagesh: Brunch at Chef Geoff's on Sunday was excellent. Fantastic eggs benedict, huevos rancheros and fried chili grits

jsbagain: dinner at Proof this weekend was the usual BLISS. Highlights: chilled tomato soup, Vadouvan Spiced Halibut & 08 Verdejo

lisamathias: Ate Corduroy's pre fixe bar menu Saturday. Eggrolls: like the lumpia Mama makes. Duck confit: saucy & succulent!

bkreilly: ate at Zaytinya, everything was delish! especially the Squash Blossoms (one of the specials) and shrimp with dill!

Streyeder: South Street Under, the potato & leek soup was by far the highlight. Also, the blackberry merlot at Doukine winery. Mmm…

jmcnichol: Awesome sushi at Hooked & new potatoe & green been salad w/ Jacques Pepin's dressing (produce from Reston Farm Mkt)

iwritegourmet: had a good lunch at La Lou Bistro… "Green eggs" made with spinach on toasted bread, and gooood coffee

districtoftam: ate the wild mushroom stuffed quail at Cedar, the new restaurant in PQ. Delicious&cooked perfectly! Bartender was also great!

Cancemini4: Spinach and ricotta agnolotti with sage butter and Squid ink tagliatelle at Kora, loving this new neighborhood gem!

alykat:Tried the Oaxaca omelet (w/ guac, black beans & pico de gallo) for the 2nd time at Busboys & Poets in Shirlington. SO good.

mfp47: Outstanding fried green tomatoes, skirt steak & corn on the cob from Founding Farmers.

Amazing_Again:can't beat the Chicken Fried Two Ways from Matchbox on Capitol Hill!

owgriswo:Bacon-wrapped tilapia at Napa 1015 on H St NE. Thought bacon would overpower, but fish shone. Pace is a gem.

Sprezzatura:Wish I could be more positive, but I was completely underwhelmed and/or disappointed by everything @ Redwood in Bethesda

Emisela: fab tacos al Pastor @ Ricos Tacos Moya in Alexandria (22309)

shoescocktails: on Sat, I ate the crispy goat cheese, grilled zucchini, eggplant & tomato puff pastry w/ green salad @ Et Voila. Incroyable.
