Remembering Laughlin Phillips

The Washingtonian's founder Laughlin Phillips died on Sunday at his home in Connecticut. In 1986, he was honored as a Washingtonian of the Year for his work to revive the Phillips Collection, his family's legacy. Read what we wrote about his efforts in our January 1987 issue here.
