The Cupcake Cup: Bakeshop vs. Breads Unlimited

Help us vote for the best cupcake in Washington.

Happy Monday, Washington, and welcome to another week full of cupcake fun and challenges! Over the weekend we closed up two cupcake matches: Mobile food truck Curbside Cupcakes beat out Just Cakes, and Furin's edged out a win over the Bread & Chocolate cupcakes that are served up at ACKC. Moving on! Click below for this morning's match up.

Bakeshop: For a long time, the only way you could get Bakeshop cupcakes was to swing by the (now defunct) Murky Coffee in Arlington, where they served Bakeshop cupcakes, or order from their web site. But now Bakeshop has its own store in Clarendon, and you can order everything from red velvet to cookies 'n cream cupcakes with abandon.

Breads Unlimited:This Bethesda bakery serves up kosher products, cakes, and big, beautiful cupcakes at a cheaper price than most cupcake stores.

This poll will close Tuesday at 10 AM.

*To help keep this contest fair, we’ve elected to use an IP address-based poll. This means that if you are voting from an office or network setting, not everybody will be able to vote. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we hope you’ll encourage coworkers to vote from their home computer.
