Where & When: What to Do Tonight

Blondie, art, and improv—all tonight

Grab some leg warmers and head to the State Theatre: Blondie's in town. The classic '80s pop-rock band, helmed by singer Debbie Harry, takes the stage at 8:30; doors open at 7. Tickets are $57.

The Arts on Foot market opens today in front of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The market, which culminates in an all-day festival on Saturday, features the work of nearly 100 artists with everything from ceramics to sculptures to jewelry available for purchase. Through Saturday; open until 7 PM tonight.

Ever wanted to try improv comedy? Now's your chance. Washington Improv Theater is hosting free introduction-to-improv workshops this week at the Studio School. Students get the chance to test their comedic chops with guidance from WIT instructors. Tonight's class is from 7 to 9, but there are also classes Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Register here.
