Where & When: What to Do Tonight

Stop by an art exhibit or a hair-raising runway show

Fashion shows are so last season. Bella Bethesda Salon is putting on a hair show, displaying men’s and women’s styles from the 1920s to today, as well as bridal dos. A $20 ticket gets you food, drinks, and a $10 gift card for a future salon visit. The show is hosted by the Ballroom (5521 Landy La., Bethesda), and proceeds benefit the N Street Village, a safe community for homeless women. 6:30. Buy tickets here.

Voices, a nonprofit that raises money and awareness for global issues, is hosting a fundraiser tonight for Relief 4 Pakistan. The event includes traditional Pakistani food and music, a photography exhibit, drinks, and a hip-hop performance. It’s at the Hillyer Art Space. Admission is $5, but larger donations are welcome. 6 PM.

Acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Tim Hetherington presents his latest work at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. It incudes the film Restrepo, which won the grand-jury prize at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival; the mixed-media project, Sleeping Soldiers; and Infidel, a series of photos on the subject of bravery, war, and male vulnerability. 7 PM. Buy tickets ($15) here.
