THEATER: Sam Forman’s The Moscows of Nantucket opens tonight at Theater J. The Woody Allen-esque play centers on family conflict at a summer retreat in Nantucket. Through June 12; tickets are $30 to $60 at Box Office Tickets.
Thursday, May 12
MUSIC: The country duo Court Yard Hounds—also known as Martie Maguire and Emily Robison of the Dixie Chicks—are performing at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue. They’ve earned critical praise for their pop-country debut, with Robison leading the vocals and other members of the Dixie Chicks band on back-up. 8 PM; get tickets ($40) at Ticketmaster.
