The long-anticipated final film installment of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 opens today at theaters in the area, but some fans couldn’t wait for an evening showing tonight. The Uptown Theatre in Cleveland Park had two overnight showings, one at midnight, and one at 3:30 early this morning. The theater allowed ticketholders in at 6:30 PM yesterday, but one group said they’d been camping outside the theater since 1 PM on Wednesday. That’s dedication.Subscribe to Washingtonian
