BENEFIT: Washington’s hottest techies will trade their computers for the catwalk during the second annual Geek 2 Chic fundraiser at Bloomingdale’s in Chevy Chase. The lineup includes Andrew Noyes from Facebook, Leo Schmid from Thrillist, Jim Long of NBC News, and Winston Lord from Venga, to name a few. Proceeds will benefit the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, an organization that offers business programs to young people from low-income communities. Tickets ($45) can be purchased through the event’s Web site. 6:30 to 9 PM.
KID-FRIENDLY: There are only two days left to check out the Kids Euro Festival, a monthlong showcase of more than 150 performances, 75 workshops, and 16 films. Tonight, kids can take a musical adventure to the North Pole with Banquise/Ice Floe at the Kennedy Center (6 PM). The festival, which ends November 10, takes place at venues across the city. Free.
MUSIC: The Squeaky Wheel Tour is making a stop at the Iota Club tonight. Featured artists include Jannel and Elijah Rap, Patty Reese, Ruthie Logsdon, Michael Sheppard, Carey Colvin and Granger Helvey, and David A. Alberding. Proceeds will benefit the Gina for Missing Persons Foundation. Tickets ($11) can be purchased at the door. 8 PM.
If you’re in the mood for something more traditional, Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Eiaudi is making his Kennedy Center debut. Eiaudi, who has composed a number of film and television scores, will perform an original repertoire on solo piano. Tickets ($45) can be purchased through the KenCen’s Web site. 7:30 PM.
FOUND VS. FOUND: For one night only, the guys behind Found Footage Festival and Found magazine are going head to head at the Arlington Cinema to determine who can dig up the coolest mementos—including hilarious video clips, love letters, birthday cards, doodles, and more. One dollar from each ticket will benefit 826DC, a local nonprofit that provides writing workshops to young students. Tickets ($13) can be purchased through the drafthouse’s Web site. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
