Pacers opened registration today for two popular Virginia races in December and next year. Snag a spot now before they both fill up.
Fairfax Four Miler
When: Saturday, December 31, 2011
Where: Old Town Fairfax
Run the final Pacers-hosted event of 2011 before ringing in the New Year later that night. The four-miler will start and finish at the corner of Main Street and University Drive in Old Town Fairfax. The top male and female finisher will receive $100 each. $35 to register. 6 PM.
Parkway Classic 10-Mile and 5K
When: Sunday, April 22, 2012
Where: Alexandria
Known for its scenic route, the Parkway Classic ten-miler starts at Mount Vernon Estates and finishes in Old Town at Oronoco Bay Park. The 5K starts at Belle Haven Marina and also ends in Old Town. Race proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Alexandria. If you register for multiple Pacers Events by March 1, you’ll receive various gifts, including a North Face backpack or a $30 giftcard.
